Catie Mansfield

Catie Mansfield grew up in Pasco County and is a product of Pasco Public Schools having graduated from Ridgewood High School. She went on to attend the University of North Florida in Jacksonville where she received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in criminology.

Catie Mansfield received her Juris Doctor with a certification in Sports Law from Florida Coastal School of Law with pro bono honors for her volunteer work at the Public Defenders Office of the 4th Judicial Circuit. While in Law School she was active in the Sports Law Society where she served on the Executive Committee, the Military Law Society, and the Criminal Law Society.

Catie Mansfield currently serves as the Senior Staff Attorney at the Pasco Sheriff’s Office where she has handled over 100 administrative hearings. She assists law enforcement with criminal, civil, and county ordinance issues, is assigned to risk protection orders, forfeitures, derelict vessel cases, and provides legal advice to law enforcement.

Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office Ms. Mansfield first served as an Assistant State Attorney of the 6th Judicial Circuit where she tried over 20 criminal cases, including misdemeanors and felonies, and hundreds of cases that were resolved before trial.

Catie Mansfield comes from a devout public service family, all of which has played a role in shaping her character. As a proud member of a law enforcement family, it is with honor and happiness that Catie found her future husband, Brian, while both working for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. Catie has two brothers, one of whom is a supervisor in the Border Patrol. Her paternal grandfather was a police officer in White Plains, NY and her maternal grandfather was a U.S. Customers Inspector. She has many cousins and uncles who are police officers as well as some who have since retired from the department. Her mother was a public school teacher for over 20 years in Pasco County, helping to shape the future for thousands of kids throughout her career. Although Catie takes her career and her obligations seriously, she is able to relax and be silly while spending time with her adorable dog, Tuck.

Trust, honor, responsibility, and public service are just a few of the values by which Catie was raised and that is the person she will continue to be as your County Court Judge.
